Warranty Statement for Services

Alpha Shading (“The Company”) guarantees the products it sells against hardware and installation defects. During the warranty period, we will repair or replace any such defects at no cost to you, as long as you comply with the terms, conditions, and limitations outlined below.

We commit to providing these services during our warranty period:

  1. Waiver of transportation and administrative charges (unless expressly stated as exceptions in your signed quotation) for sending support personnel to perform a technical assessment in cases where phone support fails to resolve the issue.
  2. Complimentary replacement of faulty hardware components covered by the hardware warranty.

The subsequent terms and conditions are applicable:

  1. This warranty is in effect exclusively for products purchased from Space Plus Pte Ltd.*
  2. The Company reserve the right to examine proof of purchase.**
  3. Payment for the products has been made in full.
  4. Our technician(s) will have access to the defective products.
  5. In case there are concerns about the hardware or other components, the representative is authorized to request an assessment of the product by the manufacturers representatives.
  6. This warranty excludes the removal or disposal of any system.

*Warranty is non-transferrable and only applicable to homeowners that purchased the product(s)
directly from Space Plus Pte Ltd.

**The warranty is only applicable to the client name written in the invoice.

The warranty outlined above does not extend to defects or damages that result from:

  1. Events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to lightning, flood, earthquake, excessive wind and other extreme weather events.
  2. Your failure to operate or maintain your products.
  3. Incidental or consequential damages.
  4. Staining or damage to the product caused by water, rust, or debris due to materials or fittings not installed by our team.
  5. Normal wear and tear.
  6. Damage resulting from UV exposure (sunlight or other natural sources), fire, bleach, or colored materials.
  7. Tears, burns, rips, and damages resulting from accidents, improper care, or misuse.
  8. Damage resulting from incorrect repairs, adjustments, or lack of maintenance.

We are not bound by these warranties to:

  1. Provide replacements for items not included in our warranty coverage.
  2. Offer software or firmware updates for motorized blinds.

Warranty Coverage

We provide 5 years warranty for the installation of Alpha Outdoor Blinds First 2 years, parts and labour is free. 3-5 years, parts only.

The Client should be aware that:

  1. Although Alphashading® Outdoor blinds offer excellent protection against rain, sunlight, UV rays, dust, and flying insects, it’s important to note that Alphashading® blinds are designed to provide different levels of ventilation and are not intended to create an airtight or waterproof seal.
  2. The selection of fabric is the client’s responsibility, and we cannot be held accountable for the client’s expectations related to
    • The level of brightness in the space after installation, as lighting conditions can significantly differ for each location (due to factors like sun orientation, time of day, size of space, external surroundings, etc.), and
    • The preservation of cooled air, which depends on several factors including the air-conditioner’s placement, cooling capacity, room size, balcony size, and more.
  3. Fabrics may naturally possess minor imperfections, and we will provide a complimentary replacement for the fabric[1] only if the scratch or dent is clearly visible from a distance of 2 meters from the system.
  4. Fabric replacements may exhibit slight variations in appearance, as batches of fabrics can have subtle color differences. Additionally, we retain the right to replace the fabric with an alternative if the original fabric is no longer available.
  5. The warranty does not cover the natural fading of colors, deterioration of finishes, aging of membranes or coatings, or material damage resulting from inadequate maintenance over time.
  6. Any issues related to configuration, strength, and color must be reported to us within one month of the installation.
  7. To ensure long-lasting enjoyment of the product, the client should:
    • Retract the blinds fully in exceptionally strong winds.
    • Ensure that the blind fabric is completely dry before retracting the blind.
    • Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents or oil-based lubricants (such as WD40 Multi-Use), as they can damage the system.

*Fabric warranty covers only manufacturer defects, defects that are caused by poor installation or deterioration caused by improper manufacturing process. General Manufacturer defects refers to conditions that would occur during the process of manufacturing.

Examples of Manufacturing defects are as follows: –
Bad Selvage, loose weaving, oil spot, double pick etc.
Usually these can be visible under strong light condition.
